Another sleeper of the vintage, this blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc may be the finest Dalem I have yet tasted. Dark ruby/purple-tinged with sweet cherry and black currant fruit interwoven with hints of stony minerality and spring flowers, this medium to full-bodied 2006 possesses sweet tannin, impressive concentration, and no hard edges. Consume it over the next 7-8 years. Excellent value. Drink 2009-2017
